Creating A Link Building Blog
December 28, 2009 by Scott
As an Xsitepro user I’m always interested in looking at different methods of getting links pointed to my website. I’m sure you’re interested in building links also, so it makes sense to look at all methods possible. One method of getting links to your site fast is by setting up a link building blog. All xsitepro users should be setting up a network of blogs and static websites in an effort to develop links from good quality sites. Below is an article that talks about link building….I hope you’ll consider some of the ideas regarding the various methods of using and creating a link building blog!
How to Obtain a Link building Blog?
Do you have a link building blog? If not, this is a good time to start putting together a strategy that will get you consistent incoming links to your blog. Incoming links and internal links are extremely important when it comes to getting your site ranked highly in the search engines so it’s something that you’re going to have to dedicate some time (and possibly money) towards.
Just as the links of a chain connect one point to another, webpage links connect your website or blog to the world. The more links you have ….the more important your blog appears to search engines such as Google. Consequently, many seo experts spend a good amount of time increasing the links to a website in an effort to make it look attractive to Big G ….hoping to bring in a flood of traffic.
There are many ways to get incoming links to your blog. I will mention some of the most important in this article.
Trading blogrolls (lists of links on your blog that lead to other blogs) is one method that people use to get others to link to their site. It’s sort of a “you-scratch-my-back-I’ll-scratch-yours” concept. There are mixed fellings on using this for a couple of reasons. some people use the blogroll to link to other sites that they feel are valuable for their visitors. Others mainly use them just to include the link and then to have their link on the other person’s blog. This has the potential to become a political nightmare. You need to keep track of who you are allowing in your blogroll and if their blogs maintain a professional and informative status. If you drop anyone from your blogroll, you can rile some people up. On the other hand, you can gain many links fairly quickly with this strategy. It might be something worth trying out in your earlier blog days and then you can decide later on if it’s working for you.
Participating in forums is a great way to get people to link to you. Just include your url in your signature when you make a comment or ask a question. Similarly, using your url in your email strategy can increase exposure to your site and increased exposure means increased potential for a link building blog.
Submitting articles is a sure-fire tried and true method for getting lots of links to your blog. But this one does take time. If you are an average (or better than average) writer and you have the time to dedicate to writing articles consistently and submitting them consistently, this is a great way to gain status and links. Here you just have to make sure that you don’t submit duplicate content. Many article directories can help you change various phrases within your content so that you can submit many different articles with different keywords instead of just the one original article that you’ve created.
A similar sort of concept involves you writing as a guest on other blogs. Just sign-up as a guest blogger for a professional, authoritative blog and you will see more and more people linking back to your blog.
Publishing videos on YouTube and then linking them back to your blog in your video description is a great way to get more traffic and more incoming links to your blog. Plus, it puts a little fun as go down the road towards obtaining a link building blog! There’s a tremendous opportunity in this field for creating a full time income by submitting videos to video sites. The best part of this business is that it is automated….. Traffic Geyser sets has a Business in a Box type of training that will teach you how to develop a six figure income online by simply submitting videos for backlinks by turning you into your own online business!

You Can Make Your Own Free XsitePro Templates
Learn how to create your own Xsitepro Templates by watching this video tutorial showing you step by step the methods and concept behind slicing up a website template and creating a Xsitepro Template!
Since XsitePro is one of the easiest site builders available on the market, there has always been the problem of the XsitePro “footprint”. This is because most xsitepro templates and websites pretty much look the same, and this is made worse by people who use the templates that come free with the program and do not change them at all.
This is always a mistake, and only a newcomer to the world of internet marketing would use the same template that thousands of other people have.
It is fairly easy to build your own site with the new Xsite Pro, using paid or free software that is available to all or software.
Plus the sense of satisfaction at looking at a web site that you have created is second to none in the world! Of course, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and you don’t want a web site that nobody ever sees, either. You want to remember that many people who can make up great websites on their own do not because they prefer to work on things that they feel confident or expert in, like article writing or keyword research, and leave the graphics part of it to people who are experts in that field.
Of course, there are lots of free XsitePro templates out there, but usually, they are not all that attractive, and have the maker’s link permanently embedded into the site. To create a nice site does not take all that long, you just need a few guidelines. Look around at other sites and see what it is you like, and then you can use them as a basis for your own site.
We need a template to start out our new site, and usually people use Photoshop to make slices to be used in XsitePro. There are many tutorials on how to use Photoshop, just Google it
After you are happy with your header, go to the side panels, making sure that they match nicely in color with the header colors.
Now, you have to make sure that everything fits together nicely, so make sure your slices are as follows: Header should be 160 by 700 pixels; the footer should be 60 by 130. The Panels, both right and left, should be 65 by 500, and the Main Body 65 by 500.
Of course, these are just basics, and you can do many other things with different sizes and with the XsitePro Preview, it is easy to see what they look like before you publish on the web.
Importing your new site into XsitePro is a snap. Create you project, then new website; click the page layout, and then start importing your new information. The page layout is the key to this; make sure you watch all the videos at Xsitepro main site.
Another thing that people do is take an existing template and “fiddle” around with it, making a new and unique template up that way.
Of course, if you are more interested in letting the experts handle creating Extraordinary Websites, Templates and Graphics so you can get down to actually creating and publishing websites, then check out my limited time offer at http://xsiteprodesigns.net
